So...not too much to report. Justin and I are waiting to hear back from The Woodlands, which we'd like to go see on Saturday on our way up to Jim and Donna's. Other than that, not much movement on the wedding front...it's definitely still early!
We do have one guy who we contacted who seems to have very little tact...doesn't answer my questions directly and then sends us an email today asking if we're still interested. (We've been trying to get each venue to tell us what dates they have available so we don't waste our time driving to places we wouldn't use.) This particular venue is up in Boothbay Harbor, and we'd really like to keep the venue in "slightly less far away Maine" for my New Yorkers...and Floridians...and even those people from Jersey ;) (and Connecticut and Virginia and Pennsylvania, too!) We'll see what happens after this weekend.
Let's see...
Justin and I have decided to use blue and green as our colors - his favorite color is blue, and though mine is really purple, I do also love green! And besides - blue and purple together reminds me of a bruise. Of course, these colors aren't getting much use until we can find our venue and day...so wish us luck! :)
