Hi Everyone :)
We got our invitations! Yay! For some reason, this has been particularly exciting for me. First, because I designed and order them all online, I had never seen them in person before they arrived. The box came on Thursday, and I wanted to wait until I was with Justin in Boston on Friday to open them, and so that night I had a nightmare about the invitations being the completely wrong colors. Not the case! They are perfect and I love them. Justin loves them, too, but he isn't quite as exuberant about them. Secondly, I think this somehow solidifies that we're getting married! Yay, wedding!
I believe we've come to a decision about cupcakes, and have decided to go with the Monkey Business Bakery. The baker/owner was more flexible, more punctual, and we just liked her better than the person we met at Two Fat Cats. And the price was right. Yay, cupcakes!
On Saturday, we went to Bed, Bath, and Beyond to set up a registry. That was a little overwhelming, and tiring, and a little weird because the very frugal "Team Roy" feels awkward about requesting gifts, so we'll cover it up by referring to ourselves in the third person ;)
Hope everyone had a great Valentine's Day! We enjoyed our low maintenance, awesome card exchanging, corn hole playing, movie watching day - our one and only Valentine's Day as fiance and fiancee! :)
